What?
Intercultural cooking event: Prepare and present
your prefered meal. We enjoy together, what the cooks have just prepared.
Everybody is welcome, who wants to present his preferred
dish or meal to a bigger Audience.
Children are welcome, as long as the parents can look
after them. Donations for consumation of a rich meal are welcome and will be
used for charity-needs in the parish.
Who?
We are an international team of amateur cooks, people from several nations
and Austrians, who like to cook and to learn from any other type of kitchen
and finally: who like to eat together.
We like simple and uncomplicated recepies that we had at
home or at friends or at any place we liked, and we are interested in good
innovative and simple cooking. While cooking we
like to talk and exchange experiences. We work
together like a big family, of any age and cultural background.
Our team will accompany and the cooking events and give
guidance if needed.
How?
Every cook brings all ingredients for his personal meal at his own expences.
Every cook prepares a meal for himself and 5 more
persons. Guests who announce their participation
for dining are welcome but may also help cooking if they like (e.g. roll
dumplings, cut vegetables etc.). Everybody is
expected however, to help in preparing the table, washing dishes and
re-establish order after dinner. The ready dishes
are fotografed with their authors/creators, if ok, the recipies will be
shortly documented. Dishes, that are broadly appreciated,
are presented on the Homepage of
www.kalvarienbergkirche.at.
